Minolta SRT-102 (3957)
Produced 1973 to 1975. aka SRT-303 in Europe, top of the line in the 70's.Metering: CLC system, CDS (cadmium) cells. Manual film speed setting on shutter speed dial.
Shutter: Cloth focal plane shutter. Mechanical. Mirror lock-up. 1 second to 1/1000th. Up to 10 sec self timer with tiny release button.
Focus: Manual. Depth of field preview button, bottom of lens mount.
Viewfinder: Pentaprism. Displays aperture and shutter speed, has a split image rangefinder. Match needle exposure.
Exposure modes: Manual and Bulb.
Flash: Hot shoe. 1/60th X sync speed. Has socket for both X-sync and FP (flash bulbs) also. Selector switch.
Film transport: Manual.
Batteries: 625 mercury (now unobtainium) or a 625 alkaline with ASA adjustment. Can also use Wein 625 cells, or hearing aid batteries in an O-ring. Battery check switch on bottom.
Lenses: Minolta SRT-mount. Takes MC or MD series lenses.

7-9-27: First film test with Kentmere ASA 400, shared with the Minolta Maxxum 5000 (2315). This shoot used the Kalimar 50mm (0395)Kalimar 50mm (0395) and a Vivtar 75-300 (2668). First I compared the test page meter reading with the TTArtisan clip-on meter to see how close they were. I used an alkaline battery instead of the mercury cell the 102 was made for. Oddly they agreed.
